Characterization of metals and identification of component materials in an alloy is performed by (among other means) emission spectroscopy and through microscopy. Our laboratory also performs chemical analyses and examines the melting process of deposits and smelts, as well as corrosion/intercrystalline corrosion tests on stainless steels.
