Procedure and qualification tests

A large part of our operation is directed towards tests in
connection to welding. We take out test specimens for
tensile, impact and bend testing according to standards
for procedure and qualification, as well as macro and micro
samples for examination of weld and base material in
regard to bonding, slag inclusions, the number of weld
beads, grain siz, depth of penetration, ferrite content
and others.

Safe Control Material Technology have adapted our
operation to respond to the rising demands in connection
to the EU:s directive regarding how pressure bearing joints
shall be tested.

Testing of procedure and qualification tests is done in
accordance to (among others):
SS-EN ISO 15614, SS-EN 13445, ASME IX, and SS-EN 287.
